Special Features & Unique Opportunities

The department allows reimbursement up to $2000 to attend one conference or course. Fellows with accepted podium presentations will be considered for additional financial support. VCU GME Education fund of $600. Monthly journal club (fellow directed). The fellowship includes joint-preserving surgery (DFO, HTO, PAO, unicondylar arthroplasty, PF resurfacing) as well as primary and revision THR, TKR, and hip arthroscopy. Time is divided between a community and an academic medical center.
