University Hospital is a Level 1 trauma center seeing high volumes of blunt and penetrating trauma. As a tertiary care center, our services also include a liver transplant service, comprehensive stroke center, Heart center with a cardiac catheterization lab, medical control responding to over 120000 calls annually
