University of Michigan Health Sparrow Michigan State University Emergency Medicine Program has many great attributes. Residents rotate on a regular basis both at a Level 1 trauma center (Sparrow) and a community-based center (McLaren). Residents are able to do 2 blocks of rural emergency medicine. Residents are scheduled longitudinally for pediatric emergency medicine. Sparrow is a STEMI center, a comprehensive stroke center, and has a full-service SANE program.
