Special Features & Unique Opportunities
Saint Joseph is an urban program with diverse patient population, with an emphasis on outpatient care. Six months of the first year is focused on inpatient care. Graduates are extremely competent in general medicine, pediatrics, and outpatient gynecology. Inpatient and emergency pediatrics completed at Lurie's Children Hospital. All other rotations are done within Ascension Saint Joseph's medical system. Dedication to resident well-being with monthly wellness activities and yearly retreat.
