Special Features & Unique Opportunities

We are a rural program that is based out of a large tertiary academic medical center during PGY1 and rural community hospital and FQHC systems during PGY2 and PGY3. Residents in this program will MATCH to their respective rural community (Ahoskie NC - RCCHC; Beulaville/Kenansville NC - GMCB; and Roanoke Rapids NC - RHGHMS). Residents will conduct their continuity clinic at the rural FQHC during all three years of PGY training, with increased exposure and patient volume as they move up PGY year
