The Mississippi Delta Family Medicine Residency Program (under the sponsoring organization the Mississippi Medical Education and Research Consortium) is a rural, community based, unopposed residency program in the heart of the Mississippi Delta. The Program's major goal is to provide a quality training experience to residents interested in learning family medicine with a rural health perspective. We aim to achieve that goal through 3 tenets: Patient Care, Education, and Community Engagement.
