Special Features & Unique Opportunities

ACGME accredited since 1969, our unopposed, 3-year program offers two training options. The Midland residency offers a robust longitudinal inpatient medicine experience, strong procedural and population health training, and daily office hours that provide exceptional continuity in a multi-disciplinary clinic. The MIDOCs-funded rural track has residents spend their first year in Midland and two years in Alpena. The rural track comes with a service agreement and offers loan repayment.
