Located in the beautiful Thousand Islands region of upstate New York. Residents get excellent hands-on training in both inpatient & outpatient medicine. Continuity clinic experience is considered one of our strong points by program graduates. Rotation work is one-on-one with attendings. Protected didactics: resident facilitated case presentations, grand rounds & Wednesday academic afternoon. Tight-knit group that work & play hard together. SMC is accredited by the ACGME .
