Special Features & Unique Opportunities
We train allopathic and osteopathic physicians in comprehensive, patient-centered primary care, especially for the medically underserved. We emphasize care within the community and use an interdisciplinary approach including behavioral health. We foster a supportive, scholarly environment that promotes resident well-being. Our training adapts to evolving community needs such as opiate use disorder and obesity. Residents also have the ability to become board-certified in lifestyle medicine.
