UPMC Shadyside applies world-class information technology and evidence-based medicine in practice. Located in Western Pennsylvania, we have trained and graduated over 400 family medicine physicians since our accreditation in 1970. We have a long history of training Osteopathic residents and achieved the distinction of being Osteopathic Recognized by the ACGME in 2018. The program offers three tracks for learning opportunities in Global Health, Underserved Care, and HIV Care.
