Special Features & Unique Opportunities

Jefferson Northeast is a 3-hospital system that is part of Jefferson Health. Located in Northeast Philadelphia and lower Bucks County, we work with 3 distinct patient populations in EDs that see over 110,000 visits per year. Our residents and faculty work at all three sites during every EM rotation, allowing for variety, diversity, and hands-on emergency medicine. Jefferson Torresdale, the primary EM-IM teaching site, hosts a high volume Level 2 Trauma Program and high acuity medical cases.
