Special Features & Unique Opportunities

Our hospital is a district hospital in CA, governed by a Board of Directors elected by the local population. We serve a catchment area of approximately 100,000 individuals, with a breakdown that is approximately 50% Hispanic (many native Spanish speakers), 38% Caucasian, with remaining 12% a mix of other ethnic origins. It is a medically underserved area. Residents work directly with attendings. We have medical students from CHSU-COM rotate with us.
