Special Features & Unique Opportunities
Neuropathology residents examine all brains and neurosurgical biopsies at NY-Presbyterian Hosp/Columbia and Children's Hosp of NY, a large, varied volume, and consultations. Residents sign out daily with attendings, present at weekly brain cuttings, microscopic conferences, tumor board and muscle biopsy reviews. The first year is clinical studies and the second, laboratory research or in-depth diagnostic work. We have a large research-oriented staff and outstanding neuroscience at Columbia.
