The University of Rochester has a large catchment area including surrounding areas of western New York resulting in delivery of care to urban and rural populations. Residents care for a diverse population of people of varying backgrounds. Residents are exposed to high volume obstetrics and robust laparoscopic and robotic training. We are committed to reproductive justice and comprehensive training in complex family planning. Simulation is regularly incorporated into the didactic curriculum.
