A key aspect at the Jacobs School is that the Residents rotate at a free standing Children's Hospital, a private hospital, a county hospital and a dedicated Cancer Center. This allows them to have varied experiences throughout the 5 years of training, preparing them to consider Fellowship training or enter practice in a private or Academic center. The many volunteer faculty assist the Residents, providing them varied experiences in the OR and clinically in office settings.
