Our mission is to train leaders in clinical pediatric critical care medicine, cutting-edge scholarship, and advocacy for children with life-threatening illnesses. We serve the uptown Manhattan and Bronx communities, and are a referral center for children in the NY/NJ region who need ECMO, organ transplants, and mechanical support. Patient acuity in our hospital is annually among the highest in the country. Fellows learn in a supportive environment incorporating graduated autonomy and mentorship.
