Special Features & Unique Opportunities
Connecticut Children's is a free-standing, tertiary care children's hospital with an annual census of >60K patients. We are a Level 1 trauma center and with the full complement of medical and surgical subspecialties. There is a structured curriculum in emergency bedside ultrasound. Simulation is deeply embedded into the educational program. We accept 2 fellows per year and accept applicants to both pediatrics (3 year) and emergency medicine (2 year) tracks.
