Children's National is both the major academic institution in DC and a catchment hospital for low-income, uninsured and underinsured families. This is part of our mission. The fellowship has high quality experiences in the clinical domain of ED, as well as an advanced Ultrasound curriculum and transport medicine experience. The fellowship has a high volume of trauma in addition to complex medical patients.
