Special Features & Unique Opportunities

The program combines a broad inpatient and outpatient clinical experience in childhood disorders of nephrology. Fellows participate in all aspects of dialysis services, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy, and serve as integral members of the transplant team. Continuity is an important component of training. Throughout all rotations, fellows attend their weekly clinic for three hours of hands-on patient care supervised by an attending physician.
