Geisinger has been educating physicians in pediatric medicine since the 1940's. Based at Janet Weis Children's Hospital, the program utilizes all resources of the Geisinger Health System including advocacy, global health, research, and an advanced electronic health record. Graduates have an excellent board pass rate, practice in all pediatric subspecialties, and serve in settings from urban to rural with a program focus on competence and comfort practicing with underserved communities.
