Special Features & Unique Opportunities

We spend a significant amount of time in a tertiary care hospital as well as time in under resourced environments We are confident that we have one of the most well rounded experiences that training has to offer. In addition, the social determinants of health and the effects of health disparities are taught with intent to give residents the tools to effect change. We also have a community service expectation of 25 hrs./academic year. We have a small program with excellent medical education.
