Special Features & Unique Opportunities

OHSU is the only academic health center in Oregon so we have very strong community ties across the state. Residents in our program will have a balanced education in an academic hospital setting, the VA, community rotations, State Hospital & a Psychiatric stand alone hospital. Electives can include clinical or research experiences, including in newer areas such as psychedelic medicine and specialty clinics for specific patient populations (diagnosis, ethnic background, age, gender, SES, etc).
