Special Features & Unique Opportunities
Our program is very focused on community/public psychiatry. Residents train primarily in a county hospital and being working two days a week in an outpatient community mental health center starting in second year, staying in this setting through fourth year. Our residents work on community projects, in correctional settings, and incorporate a sense of advocacy for underserved populations into the vast majority of their work.
