Special Features & Unique Opportunities
Our General Surgery residency is a challenging 5-year program accepting 3-4 interns per year. Skills are gained in a community hospital setting, with exposure to subspecialty surgical areas locally and at major medical centers. Didactics and clinical exposure are further broadened by membership in the Michigan State University Statewide Campus System, including monthly sessions and workshops. Our graduates who have sought fellowships have been highly successful in obtaining those positions.
